I had an idea - what does everyone think?

I thought it would add a bit of interest to run a league table of the monthly results.

The winner of each month gets 3 points, 2nd 2 points and 3rd 1 point.

If we start in January there should be 12 'results' or matches for the year. Like an annual championship.

I would be happy to run a separate thread. Call it '2017 League' maybe?

Worth doing or not?

Just a thought about scoring- if you do 6-5-4-3-2-1-points everyone gets something every month, then it would be possible to have say  2 bad months followed by a good month and work up the table- be more competetive that way I think- you could add bonus points for getting over 100-  something like that ?
