sounds a cushy number to me peter working 10 till 3 over 5 days setting up activitys for the old folk...but you are right there are much more demanding roles in a care home...thanx for the kind words

altho Ive known one or 2 very difficult oldies, in the main Ive always liked them..Ive always had that thing of 'you never know who they used to be' and usually they have an interesting story of their lives to tell , the 2 greatgrandparents-in-law here were a rear gunner 'tail end Charlie ' in a Lancaster and then went onto be a bookie , the other one was a very respected dental professor at the teaching hospital -

Hello everyone , Last night Dad suffered a mild stroke and he is in hospital recovering right now , I will talk with him when he is well enough to talk about the scoring and other things related to the forum , thank you for your consideration.

Hello everyone , Dad got discharged from hospital yesterday evening he is still feeling a little weak in the hand area (his typing hand) he will post tomorrow it's just good to have him back and making a full recovery.
