have recently subscribed to a new ratings site as liked what i saw after a short trial...the ratings cover handicap races only but cover nh...flat and aw...am going to record the results of top rated horses that are clear top rated here...qualifiers should be up fairly early most days...will start with todays plays and should be some qualifiers most days

 

hurdle and chase races...qualifiers must be at least 100 pts clear of 2nd rated

today

cannon fodder 430 plump...unplaced

mariot 530 plump...1st 8.39

 

flat and aw races...qualifiers must be at least 50 pt clear of the 2nd rated

today

yeenaan 250 windsor...1st 1.49

so noble 320 windsor...1st 4.04

 

bureau 510 pont...unplaced

 

ty gwr...1st 3.60

 

 

a good start but we see how they go over the longer term

no qualifying selections today so thought i would have a bit of fun playing with the ratings to small stakes

looked at the top 2 rated with a score of 6 or more...if both qualify would play the top rated

interesting results...hurdle races first

a good days trial and am still waiting for the database to be recovered as it crashed on day 2 of my subscription...have been told it will be recovered soon so hopefully will get stuck in when that happens

burning the midnight oil here and after 8 days of trial here are the stats for the clear top rated so far

33 selections

9 winners...27 %

longest losing sequence = 9

lsp +10.75 pt...no deduction included

 

not bad...not a super strike rate but the prices seem to compensate for that

we see how it goes over the longer term
