Not seen a second of football today due to work / college commitments however this is how the daily table looks....

Daily Table

Utkan - 8pts biggrin
Pedro - 6pts smile
Annie - 4pts
Roy - 4pts
Peter - 4pts
Josh - 3pts 


Utkan has a phenomenal day scoring 5pts in the Bosnia vs Iran match , Great selecting there , Pedro is on a swift recovery mission and takes 2nd place on a very good score of 6pts , with Annie , Roy & Peter all sharing 3rd spot on 4pts and myself having a not so good day on a reasonably low 3pts.


What has them scores done to the overall table , I hear you ask , Well here's your answer.


Overall Table

Roy - 59pts biggrin
Pedro - 49pts
Josh - 48pts
Utkan - 47pts
Peter - 45pts
Annie - 38pts
Ken - 19pts 


Well Roy's lead at the head of the affairs is still standing at a strong 10pts , With Pedro regaining 2nd spot after today's outcomes , Josh moves back to 3rd after being today's lowest scorer but is still well within striking distance , Utkan after a great day sits 1pt behind me in 4th and climbs above Peter who is back in 5th but could still come with a late run , Annie begins to lose touch with the main field once again as she falls 7pts adrift of Peter , And Ken looks tired and a beaten pony on this occasion but still plenty in with chances as we head for the knock-out stages , Where we are guaranteed to see thrills and spills of all kinds

On a day where the group stages came to a close and 16 teams progressed and another 16 went home......

Here is how the daily scores look..

Daily Table

Roy - 8pts
Josh - 6pts
Pedro - 6pts
Peter - 5pts
Ken - 4pts
Annie - 4pts
Utkan - 2pts


Roy kicks on once again and is moving away from the chasing pack , He is certainly going to be very hard to catch if he keeps up in the form he is in , Josh and Pedro who are battling it out for 2nd at the moment lock horns on the daily table as they both score a nice 6pts to keep some sort of pressure on Roy , Peter only a point behind on that today scoring a respectable 5pts , Annie and Ken both score 4pts from 4 matches and Utkan brings up the rear end of the field today on 2pts.


So how does that all make the overall table look...

Overall Table


Roy - 67pts
Pedro - 55pts
Josh - 54pts
Peter - 50pts
Utkan - 49pts
Annie - 42pts
Ken - 23pts


Well Roy is certainly beginning to canter out in front and is making the best of his way home , Pedro sits in a slender 2nd with Josh only 1pt behind , With the senior holding bragging rights in that battle at the moment , Peter is back in 4th on 50pts with Utkan just behind in 6th on 49pts , Annie with still a bit of catching up to do to grab hold of the main group , is 7th on 42pts and Ken can see them all sitting last on 23pts.
