 against the grain again

Costa Rica  2 - 1..      Campbell...  think the boiling cauldron of Recife might slow the Italians down

France       3  -  0  Bezema

Ecuador    4  -  1  Valencia

was doing some stats last night with the scores

of the 23 matches played..total goals per game

3 goalless

3 scored under 3 goals

10 scored 3....  8 being at 2 - 1

7 scored 4 +

good luck today all

The menu for the England flight home has been announced. Cold Pasta for starter, Hot Fray Bentos Corned Beef Hash for main, Pineapple Supreme desert, all washed down with a glass of cool reality.

On a day when England sadly bowed out of the FIFA World Cup the tables look like this. nononono

Daily Table

Roy - 5pts biggrin
Josh - 4pts
Utkan - 4pts
Annie - 4pts
Peter - 3pts
Pedro - 3pts
Ken - 2pts

On a sad day for the Nation , Roy takes the daily honours once again and looks a strong in an overall position and if he keeps posting nice scores he is going to be very hard to catch and take all the beating. Josh finishes joint 2nd at the end of today with Utkan and Annie posting respectable score of 4pts , Peter and Pedro score 3pts on a tough day for the nation and Ken brings up the rear on 2pts.

Overall Table

Roy - 39pts  biggrin
Pedro - 32pts
Peter - 31pts
Josh - 31pts
Utkan - 28pts
Annie - 25pts
Ken - 11pts

No change in the running order with Roy once again strengthening his lead at the top of the table with it now standing at 7pts and is looking increasingly difficult to peg back , Pedro is narrowly holding on to 2nd place with both Peter and Josh approaching , Utkan is still coming with a nice looking charge , and the filly Annie is not out of it and as Tommo would say in a Yarmouth selling race Ken can see them all and is going to need to sprout wings from there.

Best of luck all

Cheers Josh

On a day when the so called 'Underdogs' gave the big boys a run for their money , Here is how the table looks.

Daily Table

Josh - 3pts smile
Roy - 3pts smile
Pedro - 3pts smile
Annie - 2pts
Utkan - 1pt
Peter - 1pt

With none of us expecting the outcomes of today's matches the highest point scorers today goes to Josh , Roy and Pedro who all share the daily honours on 3pts , Annie draws to a close on 2pts and Peter and Utkan struggling most today only taking the 1pt from 3 games.

Overall Table

Roy - 42pts biggrin
Pedro - 35pts
Josh - 34pts
Peter - 32pts
Utkan - 29pts
Annie - 27pts
Ken - 11pts

No one takes a chunk out of Roy's lead today as he matches strides with both Josh and Pedro on today's matches , Roy still in a very comfortable position top by 7pts , Pedro sits in a very slender 2nd and he will be hoping to recover his early form to make some ground on Roy , Josh gallops on past Peter and skips in to a 2pt lead , Peter scoring only 1pt today moves on to 32 , Utkan doing the same only making 1pt which moves him on to 29 , Annie closes the gap between her and Utkan once again and is only 2pts behind once again , Ken is a no show today and loses further ground on the field , No need for whips to be drawn as of yet..

Best of luck all

Cheers Josh
