Hi Josh,

First of all, congrats about Louis van Gaal movement of MANU
I think he is best tactical manager in the world. He is sharp and i sure that you r gonna see lots of goals and entertaining matches with him.

To all forum:

I'd like to talk about Brazil Mexico match. According to bookies it's gonna be an easy winning for Brazil maybe they are right Brazil could win it but i'm positive that it's not gonna be easy match for Brazil. Remember Olympic Games in London. Mexico won 2-1 against Brazil and won the championship. Nowadays Mexico and Brazil teams contain lots of players at that match and now they ll play a World Cup match. Of course Brazil have huge home advantage but and early goal and referee factors could effect all match.
The ref is Turkish Cuneyt Cakir. Josh, you probably remember that Ref from MANU - Real match ? :) Remember :)
I warned you about him before the match lol
He is famous for interesting decisions, red cards and also penalties.

Evening Utkan , I will forever remember that referee as will most Manchester United fans for sending off Nani in which was never a red card offence , And Yes I agree with you on Louis Van Gaal a great tactician and understands the game almost better than anyone , I hope he brings all the smiles back to Manchester United.

Cheers Josh

Day 6 Table

Roy - 5ptsbiggrin
Utkan - 4pts
Josh - 2pts
Pedro - 2pts
Peter - 1pt
Annie - 1pt

After a pretty quiet day concerning goals Roy comes out on top and takes the overall lead in the contest whilst taking 4pts from a possible 5 out of the first game of the day predicting the correct scoreline and an anytime scorer also 1pt from the Russia vs South Korea game with the draw. Utkan continues to slyly creep in to contention collecting a nice 4pts doing really well in the Belgium vs Algeria game predicting the correct score and getting the draw in the Brazil game. For the rest of us it was a low-scoring day with myself on 2 along with Pedro on 2 , Peter and Annie score 1pt on a tough day.

Overall Table

Roy - 27ptsbiggrin
Pedro - 24pts
Peter - 21pts
Josh - 20pts
Utkan - 18pts
Annie - 15pts
Ken - 5pts

Roy gives himself a kick in the belly and takes the overall lead by 3pts , Pedro applies the brakes still at this early stages and drops back in to second still in close proximity of Roy , A further 3pts back and We have Peter who only took 1pt today , Josh is just behind Peter by 1 point and is on his heels , Utkan who joined the contest a few days in to it has done really well to catch up and looks a real threat if he can continue to produce big scores , Annie may need to give herself some reminders soon as she is beginning to lose touch with the main group and Ken after not playing today loses further ground on his opponents. Still all to play for and some fantastic football still to be seen.

Best of luck all.

Cheers Josh

Daily Table after Day 6!

Annie - 7pts biggrin
Josh - 5pts
Peter - 5pts
Pedro - 4pts
Roy - 3pts
Ken - 3pts
Utkan - 3pts

A day where 3 teams bowed out of the World Cup including current World Champions Spain , Which is a shock for everyone in the footballing world , No one would of predicted Spain to fall at the first hurdle. However on to today's action Annie is top scorer with a nice score of 7 and a huge well done as she was the only one who thought Chile would take the win today , well predicted Annie hope you have earned a few quid of that , Annie was not done there as she got the correct score between Croatia and Cameroon as she said 4-0 top going Annie on a difficult day , Then the mini-battle continues between myself and Peter as we both score a 5 , Pedro attempts to strike back and at the end of the day takes a point out of Roys lead , As Roy finished on 3pts today as did Ken , Utkan could not quite continue his dazzling run of form and also scores a 3!

Overall Table

Roy - 30pts biggrin
Pedro - 28pts
Peter - 26pts
Josh - 25pts
Utkan - 21pts
Annie - 21pts
Ken - 8pts

Roy still leads the way after a pretty difficult day on the prediction front with many shocks and big scores coming in , Pedro sits in a handy position in 2nd and it could all change in 1 match , Peter is a further 2pts behind with Josh only a point behind Peter . Utkan and Annie are coming and are beginning to latch on to the group and Ken after missing a day sits bottom with 8pts and it will take something special to win from there. All still left to play for!

Best of Luck all

Cheers Josh

Did Gerrard forget and think he was playing for Liverpool when he set up Suarez for that goal?

Feeling really dejected with England's defeat because I thought we had a really good chance of getting through the group with the mixture of young and experienced players in the squad but it don't look like its going to be , however still mathematically possible. nononononono

Daily Table

Roy - 4pts biggrin
Utkan - 3pts
Josh - 2pts
Peter - 2pts
Pedro - 1pt
Ken - 1pt
Annie - 0pts

Been a quite low scoring day with Roy taking the daily honours on 4pts and strengthening his lead at the top of the overall board , Utkan continues his slow rise to catching up coming 2nd today with 3pts , Once again Josh and Peter matching strides both on 2pts for the day , Pedro gets one due to Japan's draw with Greece , Ken also scores one in that game due to the draw and Annie completes the daily scores scoring the first 0 of the contest on a difficult day predicting.

Overall Table

Roy - 34pts biggrin
Pedro - 29pts
Peter - 28pts
Josh - 27pts
Utkan - 24pts
Annie - 21pts
Ken - 9pts

Roy gives himself a slap down the side and kicks 5pts clear of the chasing pack which is a comfortable lead , Pedro drops off Roy's tail for now and joins Josh and Peter as they try to close down on the lead , Coming up in their wing mirrors is Utkan who is coming in to contention nicely and setting up his challenge . Annie then sits 3pts behind Utkan and is not out of it , Ken is going to need a miracle to get in to contention from his current position.

Cheers Josh
