Back after the disappointment of the England game , Thought the played really well and was unfortunate not to come out with at least a draw.

Daily Table (Day 4)

Josh - 7pts biggrin
Roy - 6pts
Pedro - 6pts
Annie - 5pts
Peter - 5pts
Utkan - 4pts
Ken - 3pts

After a day of late goals you could never be too sure of the match outcome right up to the end with Switzerland snatching a victory of Ecuador with virtually the last kick of the game , Josh takes the daily honours marginally on 7pts with Roy and Table topping Pedro just behind with 6pts , Annie and Peter pick up a respectable 5pts , Utkan takes 4pts on his 2nd day as part of the competition (Great to have you back by the way Utkan) and Ken brings up the rear on day 4 with 3pts.

So what has that done to the Overall tables

Overall Table:

Pedro - 21pts biggrin
Roy - 20pts
Peter - 17pts
Josh - 16pts
Annie - 12pts
Utkan - 5pts
Ken - 4pts

Still very close at the top with Pedro and Roy vying for 1st place they've opened up a 3L lead over the next group which contains Peter and Josh still sitting in striking distance and could decide its time to take closer contention soon , Then its another 4L back to Annie who is in turn 7-8L clear of the slow starting Utkan and Ken , But no rest as of yet and anything can still happen with Round 1 matches almost coming to a close.

Seems to be a fair bit of good and bad luck in the games so far and for me too with my bets. Last nights treble came good with 2 of the results only happening in the last few minutes of the matches..biggrin

trying the same idea today small stakes....    Germany both teams to score....Nigeria 2.5 goals  with both Ghana and USA to win....finding these matches difficult to know what to put today.

 

Josh..I dont think Reus is playing..Ive missed the first scorer but Ill put him in again as he might score again and Im not sure who is playing otherwise......Muller

Daily Table after Day 5!

Utkan runs away as a convincing victor on a really unpredictable day with 9pts , really impressive. The rest of us scoring low points on the board with Peter coming 2nd with 3pts , myself , Annie and Roy sitting on 2pts for today , Ken and Pedro hitting the minimum of 1pt.

The two leaders slow the pace down today and now only hold a 2L lead over Peter who sits on 20pts in 3rd followed a further 2L back by Josh on 18pts , Annie has company in her possy now with Utkan making up a lot of ground today and he sits in nice contention with Ken still not recovering from a slow start but still long left to go and No need for anyone to draw the whip as of yet.
