 'ey up ..

Day 1 of this start of the shutdown- the only thing I have to say about the root of this

at the moment is I hope the governments of countries involved in this and or WHO enforce an end

to the dangerous and medieval trade and consumption of wild animals.

-local shops here reasonably well stocked

-I  havnt been to supermarkets for 2 weeks now, my son it 10 min walk away

my daughter 10min drive- I heard yesterday she and Ed may have the virus- he was at

Cheltenham last week- she works at Hallamshire hospital- hope for more news later

Morning all, looks like the board games might be making an appearance as I’m not sure my better half will sit through all of my racing dvd’s. But surreal at present, no golf, no table tennis and even our garden volunteer work with the National Trust has been cancelled until further notice.

Might spend an hour or so looking to book a grocery order to save going to the supermarket although our last visit wasn’t too bad, plenty of options for us vegetarians (every cloud). To too it all it’s chucking it down with rain, just what you need when trying to stay cheerful.

Take care all, will keep an eye on the site, it’s something to do after all.

Not a great change for me. Being a Carer means that my life has been on hold for years - so no skiing not much cricket and not been to Worcester races for ages. Just be zero cricket - oh, and my first ever time asa football season ticket holder has gone bang. Even then I had to miss all the evening games.

Welcome to my World everyone 😂

..some good news..my tomato seeds are appearing well now

I planted them some time ago..suppose to take 5 days but been much longer than that

- I bought James Wongs book..Growing for Flavour as a used book Amazon..£3.49(as new)..retail £20

some very good tips in it..I only grow tomatos and beans, slugs are a pain here and they seem to leave those alone.

My family seem to be on the mend..yet to find out what the school closures mean..a headache for a lot of families I'd say

It certainly is Peter, just come in from doing a bit of gardening having earlier booked a grocery delivery for two weeks time. Might have a look at the US racing later as there seems to be a real track bias over them favouring those drawn low. Need something to spend my money on with all our usual restaurant haunts closed for some time.

Take care everyone.

Can’t believe it’s a week since I looked in!

Garden looking good Ken?

OLBG doing USA and Australian racing. I think I landed a fiver on the Aussie ones. Not many enter.

Our own garden doing okay but missing the weekly sessions with the National Trust. Am doing some US racing picks but struggling a bit with very little form to go with, hence my low draw approach.

Take care.

Hi ... hope everyone’s ok and not gone down with this wretched virus. Well, a resumption of racing doesn’t seem too far away now. So I hope we can get the comp going again.
I seem to remember a little while ago Annie asked if I was still doing my annual list of 3yos. I am, and hopefully I’ll get some runners soon. There are 93 3yos on the list, and I’ve also done a list of 4yo+, just over 30 in all. Fingers crossed.

Excellent Al, yes all ok thanks.

Ages ago I tried to track you down when we were doing Irish racing here.

I sent a message on Messenger that may still be there although irrelevant now.

Keep looking in.
